Nobody Likes A Boring Blog – How To Make Your Blog Really Shine

Hello folks, this is “Seth Rubberfold”, once again. This will be our last article, and will cover how to blog a money making blog! Blogs are the latest thing to hit the web, and with the upcoming web 2.0 revolution, there’s a LOT of money waiting to be made. Let’s go over a few definitions, and refresh our memory. A blog is simply a journal of some sort that informs it’s readers about any subject, in a topical format, and looks often like a newspaper. If you still are clueless, go read a blog for blogs-sake!

I could go on and list hundreds of different sites to join to help promote your Projects. I think the important thing is that you spend time and join networks, social networking sights, and forums where others have similar interests as you. You will find which ones are a good fit for you and will tweek what sites you spend your valuable time on!

There are plenty of great make money online blogs out there. Some are good – some are bad. Find some good ones by searching Google and start reading through the posts and understanding the different ways to make money online.

Article Marketing – You want to write content for both your blog and to submit to article directories. Whatever your niche is, if it is something you are passionate about, you will allot the time to write content about it. When you submit articles, be sure to promote your blog in the resource box as well so that readers can easily find you.

I also like to share my posts on a newer site that has gotten a lot of attention and is checked out by sponsors is Pinterest. Pinterest is an interesting site in that the posts are mostly pictures. I love posting my giveaway photos on Pinterest for my followers there to see. Pinterest sends out a report of new posts and also recommends weekly posts for others to follow. You will also be able to view statistics with their weekly report and how many followers from there you have gained and how many “re-pins” have been taken from your site. Re-pins are when another member of Pinterest copies your photo(s) to their page for their followers to see. This helps you gain more followers for your blog. I highly recommend Pinterest for sharing your blog posts, and also I find it a fun place to visit!

Blogs employ templates, for the most part, though there are numerous desktop blogger apps that deliver a blank slate so you can create a blog like no other.

The best place to add the blog would be to the blog page on your site. It is after all, valuable content so why would you want it anywhere other than your site. If however, you don’t have a website or you would rather set up a separate blogger account, you can do so, perhaps using the WordPress Blog Account or a Google Blogger Account, which you can then link back to your site. There are various blogging sites out there, so just make sure its relevant and respected before adding, but, as we always say, content is King, so your website should benefit from a blogs content over and above any other website.
