There’s been a lot written about the environmental impact of carbon extraction of oil. While there are many disadvantages to carbon drilling, most of these are due to the fact that not all of the carbon that is created can be used to fuel. Additionally, since carbon dioxide is an adsorbent when oil is injected into the crust of the earth, it will be absorbed into aquifers below the surface which hold thousands of years of the natural storage of carbon dioxide. If the environmental conditions are not altered to increase the levels of CO2 in aquifers and soils, then the cycles of life of plants and animals living in those areas will be severely affected, sometimes completely eradicating species.
These greenhouse gas emissions are dangerous and must be addressed. Not only do they have a potential impact on the environment however, they also pose a threat to the future of civilization and our way of life. Many scientists agree that the burning of fossil fuels such as oil, coal, and natural gases need be restricted in order to preserve the planet for our descendants in the future. Unfortunately, efforts to limit climate change so that future generations aren’t terribly affected by runaway climate change, while we solve the current issues of greenhouse gases and pollution emitted from the burning of fossil fuels are hampered by the constant increase in carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.

Carbon Oil’s CAD technology also allows the separation of gases and liquids from heavy fuel oil and gas scrubbing operations.
